About: The Beijing International Forum for Metropolitan Clean Air Actions is a professional forum in the field of ecological environment held by the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau for consecutive years.
With the theme of “Synergizing the Reduction of Pollution and Carbon Emissions”, the forum will invite environmental and climate officials and experts from international organisations such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), global metropolises such as Seoul, Tokyo, London, Copenhagen, Lombardy Region, Bogota, Ulaanbaatar, as well as representatives from relevant provinces and research institutions of China, to summarise and share the ambitions, targets, measures and progress of international metropolises in air quality management and addressing climate change.
The topics to be discussed in the forum include Clean Air and Climate Actions of International Metropolises-Synergizing the Reduction of Pollution and Carbon Emissions (with a special panel on Co-Control of PM2.5 and ozone), Green and Low-Carbon Transport, and Green Finance for Low-Carbon City.
