The ULEZ will operate 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week and aim to reduce the number of diesel-powered vehicles entering the centre. Cars, vans, and motorbikes that don’t meet standards will need to pay £12.50 a day ($16.30), while lorries, buses, and coaches will be charged £100 a day ($130.43) upon entering the zone.
